In politics and democracy, waffling can be a great thing! Waffle Party temporarily joins forces with grassroots endeavor Everybody EAT at a critical time: one month before national elections, and one day before new voter registration deadlines. One half of your contribution supports non-partisan voter engagement/democracy building services of the Everybody VOTE and Pennsylvania Voice campaigns, and one half supports PA Voice member Sierra Student Coalition. This includes everything from voter file data services to posters and t-shirts.

Dave will be cooking up fresh waffles during the first hour of each arrival timeframe (starting at 5 and 7), including some fancier-than-usual selections for the "Platinum Wafflers" on the earlier end. Attendees will be entered into several drawings for prizes including Dave's new self-empowerment guide Naked Idealism,* and delicious vegan baked goods donated by personal chef Anne the Vegan Goddess. We'll also be visited by a local vegan waffle record holder who will be serving up some additional tasty waffle toppings.

As with other Waffle Parties, you don't have to be vegan, but you do need to bring a vegan waffle topping. This can be anything sweet, spicy, savory, or tangy that is free of ingredients taken from other animals, i.e., flesh, gelatin (bone/tendons), milk/dairy, egg, animal fats/oils. Please label items containing honey or processed white sugar. If in doubt, just contact us or see http://waffleparty.com for ideas. The attendee list below will show what other attendees are bringing.

If cash currently isn't an abundant asset but you still want to contribute/participate, contact us for possibilities such as donating a vegan snack dish or helping with preparation. We look forward to seeing you, and thanks for supporting important causes!

If bringing young kids, please give us a heads up and be aware that our house is not kid-proofed; we may have candles lit, etc.

*If you purchase a copy of Naked Idealism beforehand and bring it for Dave to sign (or just to show him if you really don't want him scribbling in it!), we'll donate another $5 to the above causes.
